1. Bullet train 1 is on an 81 kilometre journey and it have travelled 6\9 of the journey. Bullet train 2 is on an 72 kilometre journey and it has travelled 7\8 of the journey. Which bullet train travelled further.  Bullet train 1 or bullet train 2. Answer is Bullet train number 1 and 2.

1) 6\9 of 81 = 63

81 divide by 9 = 9

6 x 9 = 63

2) 7\8 of 72 = 63

72 divide by 8 = 9

7 x 9 = 63

2. Sam is travelling up a 49 metre tall building. He is 4\7 of the way to the top. Cameron is travelling up a 42 metre tall building and he is 5\6 of the way to the top. Who is higher?. Answer is Cameron.

Sam) 4\7 of 49 = 28

49 divide by 7 = 7

4 x 7 = 28

Cameron) 5\6 of 42 = 35

42 divide by 6 = 7

3. Angela is reading a 160 paged book.  She is 2\10 of the way through it. Oliva is reading a 45 paged book and she is 3\5 of the way through it. Who has read more pages?. Answer is Angela.

Angela) 2\10 of 160 = 32

106 divide by 10 = 16

2 x 16 = 32

Oliva) 3\5 of 45 = 27

45 divide by 5 = 9

4. Two schools are selling gingerbread men as a fundraiser. School one has 45 gingerbread men to sell and they have sold 7\9 of them. School two has 56 gingerbread men to sell and they have sold 6\8. Which school has sold the most gingerbread men?. School 1.
