1. 4\9 of 27 = 12
27 Divide by 9 = 3
4 x 3 = 12



2. 6\7 of 56 = 48
56 divide by 7 = 8
6 x 8 = 48.



3. 3\8 of 24 = 9
24 divide 8 = 3
3 x 3 = 9


4. 6\9 of 81 = 54
81 divide by 9 = 9
6 x 9 = 54



5. 2\7 of 28 = 8
28 divide by 7 = 4
4 x 2  = 8



6. 4\6 of 54 = 36
54 divide by 6 = 9
4 x 9 = 36



7. 2\8 of 40 = 4
40 divide by 8 = 5
2 x 2 = 4

28 divide 7 = 4

1. A bus has 48 seats, the bus company has sold 6\8 of them. How many seats have they told?


6\8 of 48=
48 divide by 8 = 6
6 x 6 = 36


2. A library has 72 new books, they have labeled 7\8 of these books. How many books have they labeled?


7\8 of 72 = 72
72 divide by 8 = 9
9 x 8 = 72


3. A florist has made 42 bouquets of flowers. They have sold 4\6 of these. How many Bouquets have they sold?


4\6 of 42 = 28
42 divide by 6 = 7
7 x 6 = 42


4. A pin board has 64 pins in it. 3\8 of these pins are blue. How many pins are blue?


3\8 of 64 = 24
64 divide by 8 = 8
8 x 3 = 24


5. Tracey has grown 42 carrots, she has given away 4\6 of them to her family. How many carrots did she give to her family.


4\6 of 42 = 28
42 divide by 6 = 7
7 x 4 = 28


6. A dairy has 54 bottles of chocolate milk. They have sold 6\9 of these. How many bottles have they sold?


6\9 of 54 = 36
54 divide by 9 = 6
6 x 6 = 36


7. camron guitar book has 42 songs in it. Camron can play 4\7 of these. How many songs can he play from his book.


4\7 of 42 = 24
42 divide by 7 = 6
6 x 4 = 24


8. A toy shop has 48 teddy bears for sale. 3\8 of these teddy bears are wearing a red ribbon. How many teddy bears are wearing a red ribbon?.


3\8 of 48 = 18
48 divide by 8 = 6

6 x 3 = 18.
